Since the early 1970’s, Pulse Systems has been a globally recognized leader in the development, design and manufacture of quality state-of-the-art, reliable, high quality products for the radar industry. The company specializes in custom designed products related to the fields of radar, radar subsystems and RF sources. Pulse Systems has the capability to custom design products for the customer’s specific requirements and to mass produce any line on a production basis. Our RF, Microwave, and Radar Subsystem technical expertise is also available for customers’ needs on a consultant basis.

Our newest and most advanced product is the Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA) TR-3600, which utilises new Gallium Nitride (GaN) transister tecnology to generate radiofrequency power that surpasses current systems based on magnetron tubes or klystron tubes. The new system offers significant advatages in terms of voltage and peak power requirements, performance, reliability, maintenance, and simplified system design. 

Our new TR-3600 SSPA can act as a direct replacement for our magnetron tube based universal TR-1061 250 KW C-Band weather radar transmitter system.

Pulse Systems designs products for a wide variety of applications including, but not limited to, weather monitoring, meteorological systems, wind shear detection, airborne Doppler radar, shipboard Doppler radar, homeland security, and various military and defense applications. We provide products and services to private, government and academic institutions.
Pulse Systems’ modern manufacturing plant features state-of-the-art equipment and laboratory facilities, which allows us to rapidly develop and customize innovative products to meet the specific requirements of our customers. Pulse Systems has extensive technical experience in magnetic design and fabrication techniques. Special magnetic materials are employed in various magnetic components and transmitter designs, depending on the application. The use of special grades of silicon steel, nickel alloys, Metglas®, and Nanocrystalline® Alloy are employed by the magnetics designers for optimum system performance.
