Providing Solutions for Future Challenges and Technology - Reliability, Performance, Innovation

Pulse Systems Timeline

1969 - Pulse Systems Inc. was started under the name MagCap Engineering, Inc. It was founded by John C. Lagadinos, President/CEO, to produce state-of-the-art radar pulse components and subsystems for the military and industry. Initially, the company performed design studies and investigations for solar power conversion systems to provide power for communication satellites. Under NASA contract, Pulse Systems generated a comprehensive design manual for space grade magnetic components suitable for operation in the vacuum environment of space.

1972 - Pulse Systems expanded its scope and has been involved in research & development and the custom design of components and systems such as:

  • Weather radar systems
  • Surveillance radar systems
  • Instrument radar systems
  • Homeland security systems
  • Early warning systems
  • Radar upgrades
  • Expendable emitter systems and decoy systems for the Department of Defense
  • Solid state transmitters
  • Line type modulators
  • Solid state power supplies

2011 - Pulse Systems moved to our new 32,000 square foot facility, located on 20 acres of land, with the capacity for future expansion. The new facility allows us to meet the increasing demand for our innovative products and services, as well as expand our manufacturing and research capabilities.

2012 - Pulse Systems has announced our new Universal Klystron C‑Band and S‑Band Transmitter Systems. These systems employ our proven universal transmitter technology, which takes advantage of the improved signal characteristics of klystron-based systems. These systems can be tailored easily to meet our customers' specific requirements.
