Custom Design RF Sources
Pulse Systems has been involved in the development of RF sources for various applications. We have the expertise to design RF sources to meet each customer’s unique application requirements and specifications.
The following are some examples of our RF custom designed projects:
- Two systems were designed for Princeton University for work in plasma physics and laser development systems for the Department of Homeland Security. These RF sources were designed to excite magnetrons in radiofrequency bands ranging from L-Band through KU-Band. Power levels ranged from 100KW to 1.0 MW peak RF power. These systems were integrated into custom designed cabinets with controls and monitors for turn-key operation.
- Two S-Band, 1 MW systems were designed for two leading microwave companies involved in the manufacture of circulators, RF filters, waveguides, RF loads, and other similar components.
- A special L-Band RF source was designed for the Department of Defense operating at 2.5 MW peak RF power at .001 duty cycle.
